Headline: Unlocking Potential: The North East Premier League
The North East has always been the heartbeat of Indian football, producing stars like Lallianzuala Chhangte, Jeje Lalpekhlua, and Renedy Singh. Now, the region gets the professional structure it deserves.Launched in January 2026, the North East Premier League (NEPL) is a collaborative 10-year agreement between the AIFF, State Federations, and Japanese partner Bestserv.
Our Mission:
Develop Talent: Provide a professional platform for homegrown talent and players lacking opportunities.
Build Infrastructure: Create a developmental ecosystem connecting grassroots to professional clubs.
Future-Proofing: Upgrade Indian football standards through corporate partnerships, improved broadcasting, and technical training.
“The NEPL is a foundation to groom local players and create a strong bond with fans.” — Luis Nakaya, Chairman of Bestserv
